You can order a color combination other than those above with a special order.
Use the Chiron warm air low-pressure coater SG200 or the PN-5 series spray gun.
The water ratios listed are with respect to 1 kg of Chaffwall. Use these figures only as a guide.
The ratio for embossed blown with respect to the foundation is about 3:2.
Applications for Chaffwall
Pretreatment
1. Masking: Carefully cover windows, baseboards, and floors with a special seal, vinyl, or masking tape.
2. Pre-treating the foundation: Remove dust and other contaminants from the surface. Remove oil contaminants completely to clear the surface. When there is lye, a stain, or an unevenness in the color of the surface, cover it with a sealer or other adjusting agent.
3. Mixing: Add the previously mentioned amount of water to 1 kg of Chaffwall and mix well. Let the mixture sit for about 2 hours. Mix again before use. If you want to use it instantly, filter the mixture with a screen.
Application and necessary tools
Spray the surface
@- Use a compressor with an output of 0.75 kw.
@- A spray pressure of 4 to 5 kg/m2(average).
(1) Natural calcium paint (Use a nozzle with a diameter of 2.5.)
@Flat blown (Spray twice)
@- Required amount 310 g/m2
@- A bag (10 kg) covers an area of 30 to 35 m2.
@Embossed blown (Spray over 2 coats of Flat blown)
@- Required amount 500 g/m2
@- A bag (10 kg) covers an area of 20 m2
i2jNatural silica wall (Use a nozzle with a diameter of 3.5.)
@Flat blown (Spray twice.)
@- Required amount 310 g/m2
Procedures for application
1. Spray the mixture on the surface. Spray evenly over the surface. Do not worry if the foundation is not completely covered.
@When you use a roller, use a brush in corners where a roller does not work well.
2. Wait for the paint to dry (about 2 hours).
3. Spray the surface again. When using a roller, avoid overlaps to apply the mixture evenly.
Note
Once water is added to Chaffwall, use the mixture as soon as possible. Keep the mixture in a cool place. This will allow the mixture to hold for about a week. Treat the mixture like uncooked food.
It takes some time for the mixture to dry because Chaffwall is made from natural materials. A dried surface may not indicate that the inside has dried. Let the surface stand for a day after the mixture is applied.
Use Chaffwall only for the predetermined purposes. An odor peculiar to natural materials will linger for a week or so.
Do not use Chaffwall in areas where water is used.
